In Europe, Oda got her degree in fashion, pattern
making and textile designs. She worked thirty-five years in
the motion picture industry on movies such as "Casino,"
"Hello Dolly," "Camelot," "Terms of
Endearment," and many others. Involved with studios like
20th Century Fox, MGM, Universal and Warner Brothers. |

She has created many wedding gowns and other beautiful
accessories. Now designing on her own since early 2000, she
has been bringing fun and excitement to weddings, showers, birthday
parties and other occasions with her now famous "Cake Bibs".

Monique, Oda's daughter, is the Executive Vice-President
of My Gym Children’s Fitness Center’s franchising
company, creating children’s facilities across the country.
She is also the owner of the My Gym located in Encino, CA for
over 12 years. Her creative new ideas, along with her love of
crafting, have inspired her to work together with her mother. |

| A Wedding! |
When Monique got married in 1992, Oda made
Monique's dream wedding dress. It was beaded by hand and sewn
with love, every inch of it! Monique's fear was that somehow
she would spill something on it, and was especially worried
when it would come to the cake cutting time. Her fiancé
was quite a prankster, and Monique knew she would be upset
if any icing got on her beautiful dress.
So the cake bib idea was born! When it came time to cut the
cake, Monique put on her adorable bib. To her husband’s
surprise, she put one on him too. The onlooking 250 wedding
guests were all in awe at this wonderful new idea of cake
bibs. Plus, to Monique’s delight, her husband did not
mash any cake after all! |

It has since become a new tradition!
The bibs are great wedding keepsakes and mementos for any
occasion, especially since they can be personalized with names
and dates. They really make fantastic bridal shower gifts.
Can you imagine a room full of ladies marveling at the sight
of them?!
One bride gave personalized bibs to each of her bridesmaids
and groomsmen to wear while dinner was served. It was a clever
idea, and you should have seen the wedding pictures!
The main idea of these bibs was to add a unique spark and
special meaning to the cake cutting ceremony at your wedding.
Cutting the cake symbolizes the sharing of your first act
together as husband and wife. As the bride and groom put each
other’s bibs on, cut the cake together, and feed each
other a little piece, the whole scene makes for a “sweet”
and touching memory to last a lifetime.
And if anything does spill, your tuxedo and wedding dress
